Job summary

Securitas UK is seeking a Relief Security Officer for a key site in Brough. The role involves patrolling, monitoring CCTV and access points, and responding to alarms and incidents to keep staff and visitors safe.

You'll work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule (days, nights, weekends) with driving duties and a commitment to high-security standards. Training and progression opportunities are available within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence
• Valid UK Driving Licence
• 5-year checkable work history
• Born British National or held a British passport for at least 5 years
• Able to obtain SC (Security Clearance)
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Smart, reliable, and proactive approach

About the Role:

As a Security Officer in this vital position, you’ll be the first line of defence for a key site in Brough. Your presence alone helps ensure staff, visitors, and assets are kept safe at all times. One moment you may be conducting a perimeter patrol, the next responding to an access control alert or assisting with an emergency drill. This isn’t just about locking doors—it’s about being alert, observant, and confident under pressure. You’ll be part of a professional team trusted to maintain a secure, calm, and safe environment.
