Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Retail Security Officer in Leicester to bring energy, professionalism and a calm presence to the shop floor. You will be protecting people, preventing loss and creating a safe, positive shopping experience for customers and colleagues alike.

Responsibilities

• Providing a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor.
• Delivering outstanding customer service at all times.
• Deterring theft, anti-social behaviour and public order offences.
• Carrying out regular store patrols.
• Operating CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss.
• Working closely with store management teams.
• Supporting partnerships with Police and local crime networks.
• Using Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety for everyone onsite.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor
