A local government council in Barry seeks a part-time HR advisor to provide support on employee relations issues. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, public sector experience, and the ability to manage complex situations. The role includes dealing with restructures, grievance matters, and supporting managers across the council. Pay is between £40,476 and £44,711 pro rata.
Working in a busy, supportive and proactive team providing advice and support to Managers, Head Teachers and Staff on all employee relations issues working across all areas of the Council including Schools.
Pay Details: Grade 9, SCP 31 - 35, £40,476 - £44,711(Pro Rata), £20.98 - £23.17ph
Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 0 hours, Mon- Fri, 52 Weeks, Part-Time
Main Place of Work: Civic Offices - Barry
Description: Working as part of a small close team you will be dealing with restructures, complex discipline, grievance and attendance matters where good judgement and knowledge of employment law is essential, in addition to becoming involved in Council initiatives and objectives as outlined in the corporate plan. Whilst you will have discrete service areas of responsibility you will be expected to assist other colleagues as and when required.
