Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Relief Housekeeping Operative at The Oracle Shopping Centre, Reading. You will deliver clean, compliant service while meeting SLAs and following cleaning schedules.

This permanent role is 40 hours per week with a pay of £12.82 per hour. You will work both in teams and independently, ensuring safety and high standards across facilities in a busy retail environment. Applicants should have basic English, be reliable, proactive, and dedicated to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order.
• Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules.
• Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used.
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training.
• Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service.

We're looking for a Relief Housekeeping Operative who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to cleaning schedules.

Pay: £12.82
Location: The Oracle Shopping Centre, Reading

Role Responsibilities:

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order
• Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules
• Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training
• Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service

• Ability to communicate and read basic English
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
• Flexible and proactive approach to work
• Open, honest, self-driven, and determined attitude
• Reliable and hardworking with a professional demeanour
