Zusammenfassung

Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a relief Housekeeper to join the Hotel Services team. The role covers cleaning and catering across office, patient and communal areas in a mental health and learning disability setting.

Shifts run between 7am and 6pm with possible extra hours at short notice. Experience in a mental health or learning disability environment is essential, and visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifikationen

• Food Hygiene Certificate level 2, or completion within 12 months.
• Numeracy and literacy to level 2 (GCSE grades 9 to 4 equivalent)
• ITQ level 2
• Experience of general cleaning duties
• Experience using cleaning materials and equipment
• Experience of working or volunteering in a mental health or learning disabilities environment
• Knowledge of health and safety and COSHH
• Knowledge of the National Standard of Cleanliness and deep-cleaning procedures
• Knowledge of Patient-Led Assessment of the Care Environment (PLACE)
• Following protocols and instructions with thoroughness and attention to detail
• Safe, efficient use of motorised cleaning equipment, kitchen equipment and regeneration ovens, plus food preparation, washing and ironing
• Effective verbal and written communication

• Carry out general and deep cleaning using chemicals and equipment, including motorised cleaners
• Prepare and serve food and use kitchen equipment, including regeneration ovens
• Carry out washing and ironing
• Keep a clean, safe and supportive environment for staff and patients
• Work as part of a multi-professional team
• Work shifts between 7am and 6pm
