Job summary

A local government council in the United Kingdom is seeking a Relief General Kitchen Assistant to help in the preparation and service of school meals. The ideal candidate should have a Level Two Food Hygiene Certificate or be willing to obtain one. This role requires working between 10:00 am and 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday, during term time only. Qualifications

Relief General Kitchen Assistant - YGG Llangywyd School

Responsibilities
  • Assisting in the preparation, presentation and service of school meals, whilst providing a safe, clean environment to pupils and staff.
  • You will be required to lay out dining tables and chairs and, in some schools, operate a touch screen terminal - training will be provided upon start.
  • Cover at schools across the County Borough is a requirement of the role.
Qualifications and Training
  • Level Two Food Hygiene Certificate; training will be provided if necessary to help you obtain this.
Hours and Location

Working hours will be confirmed upon appointment but will be between the hours of 10.00am and 2.30pm, to support the mid -morning break and lunchtime periods, Monday to Friday, term time only.
