A local government authority in the UK is seeking a General Kitchen Assistant to help prepare and serve meals in schools. Responsibilities include assisting in food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting school dining needs. Ideal candidates will have a Level Two Food Hygiene Certificate or be willing to obtain one. This position requires good communication and teamwork skills and will involve working term time only from 10.00am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday.
As and When Needed, Term Time. Providing primary, secondary and special school meals to 56 schools across the county borough, Catering Services have a variety of opportunities for you to work as a General Kitchen Assistant across their service and would like to hear from you.
Working hours will be confirmed upon appointment but will be between the hours of 10.00am and 2.30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.
An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
