Job description: As and When Needed. Term Time.

Providing primary, secondary and special school meals to 56 schools across the county borough, Catering Services have a variety of opportunities for you to work as a General Kitchen Assistant across their service and would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation, presentation and service of school meals.
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment for pupils and staff.
  • Lay out dining tables and chairs; in some schools operate a touch screen terminal (training provided on start).
  • Cover at schools across the County Borough as required by the role.

Work Schedule

Working hours will be confirmed upon appointment but will be between 10:00am and 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only, to support mid-morning break and lunchtime periods.
