Relief General Kitchen Assistant - Archbishop McGrath School. Term Time. Providing primary, secondary and special school meals to 56 schools across the county borough, Catering Services have a variety of opportunities for you to work as a General Kitchen Assistant across their service and would like to hear from you.

Overview

As and when needed across term time, duties include assisting in the preparation, presentation and service of school meals, whilst providing a safe, clean environment to pupils and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation, presentation and service of school meals.
  • Provide a safe, clean environment to pupils and staff.
  • Lay out dining tables and chairs; in some schools, operate a touch screen terminal (training will be provided on start).
Requirements
  • Level Two Food Hygiene Certificate; training will be provided if necessary to help you obtain this.
  • Cover at schools across the County Borough is a requirement of the role.
  • Working hours between 10.00am and 2.30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only; hours to be confirmed upon appointment.
