Job description: As and When Needed, Term Time

Providing primary, secondary and special school meals to 56 schools across the county borough, Catering Services have a variety of opportunities for you to work as a General Kitchen Assistant across their service and would like to hear from you.

The role includes assisting in the preparation, presentation and service of school meals, whilst providing a safe, clean environment to pupils and staff. You will be required to lay out dining tables and chairs and, in some schools, operate a touch screen terminal - training will be provided upon start.

Cover at schools across the County Borough is a requirement of the role as well as having a Level Two Food Hygiene Certificate; training will be provided if necessary to help you obtain this.

Working hours will be confirmed upon appointment but will be between the hours of 10.00am and 2.30pm, to support the mid -morning break and lunchtime periods, Monday to Friday, term time only.
