Job summary

Scottish Borders Council is seeking a Relief Early Years Practitioner to support childcare and education across various locations within SBO. The post involves contributing to high quality learning experiences for children and working as part of the Early Learning and Childcare team to deliver imaginative, inclusive activities.

You will meet the required qualifications: HNC in Childhood Practice/Childcare & Education or SVQ 3 in Children’s Care, Learning & Development.

Qualifications

• HNC in Childhood Practice/Childcare & Education required or SVQ 3 in Children’s Care, Learning & Development.
• Registration with GTCS or ability to obtain full registration with SSSC within 3 months of appointment and maintain it throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all aspects of childcare and education in the ELC setting and support the team with appropriate duties.
