Job summary

ExtraCare is seeking a Relief Chef for Wixams Retirement Village, Bedford. You will provide homemade traditional meals, ensuring high kitchen standards and a great dining experience for residents. Hours are ad-hoc/as required, with a competitive hourly rate of £14.78.

The role requires experience in a similar environment; ideally you will hold a QFC/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent. DBS check and Home Office right to work clearance apply. Onsite benefits accompany the position.

• Possess high kitchen standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide homemade traditional meals.
• Offer residents an excellent choice of meals which provide good nutritional value.

• Ensure the menus are prepared within budget.
