Job description

McCarthy Stone are recruiting a professional Relief Care Supervisor to join ourteam at ourprestigious Elles HousedevelopmentinWallington, Surrey

Hourly rate : £16.78 per hour day shifts and £13.03 per hour SLEEPING night shifts. Plus earn an additional £1 per hour for every hour worked from midnight Friday, to midnight Sunday.

Hours : To cover shifts on an 'as and when' basis when required, tobe discussed with the developmentManager.

Our day shifts vary between 08 : 45 and 16 : 30 or between 16 : 15 to 09 : 30.

Our night shifts are from 21 : 30 to 09 : 00am

Our Relief Care Supervisors sleep between 23 : 00pm and 07 : 00am providing emergency support only to our homeowners throughout that period.

About you
  • You will live within easy commuting distance of our estate.
  • You will be a warm, friendly, organised, and self-motivated individual with experience of working in a care or support environment and excellent care skills.
  • You will want to work in the Health and Social care sector and preferably have a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 3 qualification although consideration will be given to a candidate with an alternative qualifications and relevant experience.
  • Keen to take on the responsibility of managing the security of the development, looking after the safety and wellbeing of the homeowners, and overseeing the Care and Support teams.
  • Able to co-ordinate and facilitate activities that help strengthen the community spirit within the development.
  • Driven to continue to grow their skills and will want to lead by example and think on their feet.
  • Able to make a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
