Parklands Care Homes is seeking a Relief Care Assistant for our Inverness Pittyvaich Care Home. You will support residents with care, dignity, and independence, while learning and adapting in a fast-paced environment. The role requires strong communication and teamwork within a dedicated care team.

Responsabilités

• Support the care, protection, and wellbeing of residents with respect and dignity, assisting with protection and promoting independence.
• Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower residents to achieve personal goals and aspirations.
• Promote residents' health and wellbeing by meeting physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual needs, including facilitating social, educational and recreational activities.
• Ensure health and safety of residents, maintain stock and equipment, and adhere to Parklands policies and procedures.

We are looking for a Relief Care Assistant who is dedicated to making every moment count, regardless of their qualifications or experience.

As a Relief Care Assistant, you will need to be willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment as well as have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of our team.

The Role

• To support the care, protection, and wellbeing, of all residents, by treating them with respect and dignity, assisting with their protection and promoting their independence.
• Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower our residents to achieve their personal goals and aspirations. Respect each individual’s uniqueness and support them in making informed choices to live the life they desire, in accordance with their person-centred care plans.
• Promote the health and wellbeing of residents, ensuring that their physical, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs are met inclusively. This includes facilitating social, educational, and recreational activities such as visits with family and friends, walks, and other activities of their choice.
• Ensure the health and safety of all individuals in your care, maintain stock and equipment, and adhere to Parkland’s policies and procedures.
