About Creative Support

Creative Support is a non‑profit organisation which provides high quality person‑centred social care services for people with learning disabilities, mental health and other needs.

Role Overview

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Relief Activity Support Worker to initiate, plan and provide enjoyable and stimulating group and one‑to‑one activities based on the identified needs, interests and preferences of older people living in our Extra Care Services in Brent and Harrow. You will facilitate social inclusion and community links and promote their physical and mental wellbeing, confidence and independence.

Responsibilities
  • Initiate, plan and provide enjoyable and stimulating group and one‑to‑one activities.
  • Facilitate social inclusion and community links for older people living in our Extra Care Services.
  • Promote their physical and mental wellbeing, confidence and independence.
  • Write reports and create promotional materials such as posters and newsletters to showcase ongoing activities.
Qualifications
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to facilitate and work with people in groups.
  • Experience working with people with dementia, learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism or physical disabilities (advantageous).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and similar software.
Other Requirements
  • Work on a zero‑hours contract, relief basis.
  • Willingness to travel between services across Brent and Harrow.
  • Flexible working hours.
