Job summary

LWC Drinks Ltd, Stoke Depot, is seeking a Class 2 Driver to join our delivery team. You will safely drive a Class 2 vehicle, deliver to pubs, bars and customers, and complete related paperwork while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include daily vehicle checks, loading/unloading with manual handling, ensuring loads are secured, adhering to Working Time regulations, and supporting the warehouse team as needed. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Understanding of driver hours, tachograph rules and working time regulations.
• Safe loading practices including load restraint systems.
• Regular manual handling capability.
• Reliable team player with good communication and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Deliver drinks to pubs, bars and customers safely and on time.
• Work to depot rota requirements to ensure customer service levels.
• Load and unload stock using appropriate equipment and manual handling.
• Secure loads using load restraints to prevent movement.
• Check deliveries against paperwork at drop and maintain accuracy.
• Collect empties and return them to site.
• Keep customers informed of delays or issues.
• Complete delivery paperwork or handheld device tasks and collect payments when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of premises security and operational information.
• Follow health and safety procedures and tachograph rules.
• Support warehouse team as needed (loading, sorting returns).
• Maintain a neat uniform appearance per LWC Drinks requirements.
