Workchain is seeking an experienced Car/Van Driver in Cwmbran for a temporary daytime role supporting deliveries from an electrical wholesale operation. The job involves long-distance travel, multiple drops (10+), loading/unloading, and safe handling of goods with a professional customer-facing approach.

The role requires a valid driving licence, reliability, strong timekeeping and route planning, and adherence to health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in handball and manual loading or unloading.
• Valid driving licence for the vehicle used.
• Experience completing multi-drop routes with over 10 deliveries.
• Good timekeeping and route-planning ability.
• Physically able to handle goods safely.
• Reliable, organised and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Driving a car or van safely and responsibly.
• Completing long-distance delivery routes.
• Carrying out multi-drop deliveries, including more than 10 drops.
• Loading, unloading and moving goods by hand.
• Checking deliveries and ensuring items reach the correct destinations.
• Providing a professional and dependable service at each delivery point.
• Following site, vehicle and health and safety procedures.
