Qualifications

• A valid UK driving licence allowing you to drive a 3.5 tonne van.
• Previous van driving or multi-drop delivery experience preferred.
• Confidence using handheld scanners and navigation systems.
• Good communication, organisation and timekeeping skills.
• Ability to carry out regular lifting and loading safely.
• A reliable approach and commitment to safe driving.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect parcels from residential and business addresses.
• Load your vehicle and organise parcels into delivery order.
• Follow planned routes and manage time to complete deliveries.
• Use a handheld scanner to record deliveries and proofs of delivery.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report faults.
• Handle parcels carefully and follow safe manual handling procedures.
• Communicate delays or delivery issues to the transport team.
• Represent the company professionally when dealing with customers.
