This is an exciting opportunity to join the Mars Wrigley factory in Slough . We are looking for a skilled Reliability Technician with experience in diagnosing and maintaining production equipment such as pumps, valves, and conveyors. Key responsibilities include performing planned maintenance, troubleshooting complex technical issues, mentoring team members, and ensuring equipment safety and reliability in compliance with site standards.

Qualifications : Minimum ONC / HNC qualification, apprenticeship, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
Practical experience in Lifting & Slinging operations (LOLER or Slinger / Signaller certification preferred)
Skilled in Machining and Mechanical Fitting (NVQ Level 2 / 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings , schematics, and technical diagrams (training or coursework in technical drawing desirable)
Experience with MS Office, CMMS (SAP PM) software
Teamwork & Communication : Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams, with excellent communication skills in English.
Drive & Problem Solving : Strong motivation to achieve results, coupled with excellent problem‑solving and functional / technical skills.
Perform planned and preventative maintenance on production equipment to ensure peak operational performance and minimize downtime.
Strictly adhere to site safety protocols, including GMP / GHP standards, while aligning with both operational and technical priorities.
Develop and maintain expertise across a range of agreed technologies to provide timely support during shift breakdowns and contribute to training activities.
Collaborate closely with the Reliability Engineer to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance equipment performance.
Provide support to Electrical & Utilities Technicians as needed to maintain seamless operations.
Mentor and support Maintenance Apprentices , fostering their development and practical learning on the job.
