Job summary

Amazon is seeking an RME Area Manager to lead a team of expert technicians focused on equipment reliability across one of our operational sites in the UK. You will guide maintenance strategies, oversee data-driven improvements and ensure safety and compliance while delivering value in fast-paced environments.

You will mentor and develop engineers, drive continuous improvement projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise performance and uptime across Amazon's fulfilment

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering team management.
• Maintenance team experience in an industrial or production environment.
• Experience liaising with a range of stakeholders including third-party vendors.
• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English and upper-intermediate proficiency in local language.

Responsibilities

• Support colleagues in site compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Implement network standards, plan preventative maintenance and ensure technical availability.
• Collaborate with colleagues to collect and analyse data to improve processes.
• Deliver and support both site-based and network-level projects.
