Job description

We are recruiting a reliability supervisor to join our clients team located in Nottingham; working as part of the facilities management team, te will be responsible for driving analysis regarding the performance of the environment in and research setting with relation to the mechanical & electrical assets within the facility to ensure the current and future availability, reliability and maintainability of the environment and critical services.

Essentially, the reliability supervisor will liaise closely with the management team and the maintenance team to ensure the safe and continued operation of all electrical and mechanical, providing diagnosis, analysis and reporting via the Building Management System (BMS), and will identify opportunities for increased efficiency and operation.

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Environmental controls and BMS engineering experience essential
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a technical reliability role or similar, in a research or medical environment.
  • Multi skilled engineering background
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of maintenance processes and tools used to analyse and manage asset reliability.
  • Ability to read, understand and sketch technical drawings (machine and process) and literature to gather or present relevant work order information.
  • Very strong analytical skills with proven ability to break down and solve complex problems in a logical and structured approach
  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills
  • Ability to work to own initiative and as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • Robust and assertive attitude towards achieving results and motivating team members
