Qualifications

• Proven experience working with vulnerable adults, preferably in health and social care.
• Understanding of Safeguarding and Deprivation of Liberty.
• Experience in handling sensitive information securely.
• Must have a full driver’s licence and access to transport.

Job description

We are currently looking for a Relevant Person’s Paid Representative to join our vibrant and dedicated team based in the Nottinghamshire.

As a Relevant Person’s Paid Representative, you will support a diverse range of vulnerable adults, frequently with profound and multiple needs. You will leverage your experience to provide persuasive verbal and written representations, work independently and with professional discretion, handle sensitive information responsibly, travel regularly to visit beneficiaries, and ensure their voices are heard and their rights upheld.

Hours of Work: 37 hours working between 9 am – 5 pm Monday – Friday as required.

Location: Home based with travel around the Nottingham area. Applicants should live in the Nottingham area, have a full driver’s licence and access to their own transport.

Salary: Starting Salary £24,242.40 Per annum.

Contract Type: Permanent.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with vulnerable adults, experience within a health and social care setting would be an advantage.
• Understanding of Safeguarding and Deprivation of Liberty would be useful.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Intermediate Word, Excel and Outlook skills would be beneficial.
• Experience in handling highly sensitive information securely.
• Full driver’s licence and access to your own transport and will need the appropriate business use car insurance.
