Job summary

A leading UK financial institution seeks a Chief Operating Officer to drive business success by nurturing customer relationships and managing risk exposure. Salary Range:£48,000 – £60,000 per annum DOE+ benefits

What you’ll be doing
  • Contributing to the team's financial performance and achievement of its overall business objectives.
  • Delivering a heartfelt service, developing measures to track how you do this.
  • Straight Up Management of Risk Exposure within a commercial portfolio and focusing on growing our Business.
  • Delightfully surprise our customers by solving complex queries in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure excellent attention to detail and care in data quality, and lending risk measurements.
  • Developing strong relationships with new customers through focused conversations following onboarding.
  • Secure customer retention with robust and focussed conversations.
We need you to have
  • Sound knowledge of commercial banking including key market opportunities and challenges.
  • A demonstrable clear understanding of commercial Financial Statements and the ability to analyse them for risk.
  • A passion for going above and beyond to ensure our customers are happier about their money.
  • Excellent relationship Building experience including managing challenging conversations and you’ll thrive working as part of a team.
  • A good understanding of the banks commercial policies and procedures.
  • A proven track record of working at pace and managing multiple requests whilst maintaining and delivering a first‑class service to colleagues and stakeholders.

If you're successful in securing a role with us, there are some checks you need to complete before starting. These include credit and criminal record checks and three years' worth of satisfactory references. If the role is part of the Senior Manager Regime and Certification Regime, it requires enhanced pre‑employment checks – we'll ask for six years of regulatory references, and once in the role, you'll be subject to periodic employment checks.
