What you’ll bring

You’re an account manager with experience in business delivery, negotiation, forecasting, reporting, business planning and relationship management. This is backed by a record of delivering high quality, efficient and effective sales output. You’re adept at securing business, even in the face of resistance and other issues. This is paired with a knack for managing customers and their expectations, from opportunity right through to commercial completion and delivery. A clear communicator and presenter, you can make even the complex easy to understand, turning on your ability to engage and influence when needed. This extends to leading and supporting your team members. Highly organised, you’re focused on the details, the deadline and the results. Plus, you’re knowledgeable about commercial acumen and financial management reporting.

  • It would be desirable if you had a degree or Level 6 qualification in business management.
  • Experience in value‑based selling, contract management, CRM, private sector best practice, and working in sales in a variety of commercial and/or secure environments would be beneficial.
  • As would experience of product, project or service delivery across a variety of sectors, ideally construction, estates, logistics, FM, ICT, professional services.
  • It would be plus if you’re a professional member of a professional body relevant to customer base, for example, CIPS or RICS.
