Job summary

Wokingham Borough Council is seeking a Social Worker for the Family Help Service in Wokingham. You will deliver relational, child-centred social work and collaborate with families and partners to drive durable change.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with BA/MA/MSc in Social Work.
• Experience with children and families as a social worker.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and commitment to inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Deliver child-centred, relational social work practice.
• Undertake direct work with children and families to promote safety and wellbeing.
• Co-produce plans with partners to improve outcomes.
• Produce clear assessments, reports, and court documentation.
• Attend safeguarding meetings and reflective supervision.
