Reinsurance Technology Analyst – Synpulse

Overview

As a reinsurance technology specialist, you will work globally with leading reinsurance clients, bridging the gap between business stakeholders, technical teams, and system experts. You’ll dive into cutting‑edge implementations and hands‑on client support, leading system enhancements that shape the future of reinsurance technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partnering with reinsurance clients to understand their business and technology strategy, analyse their business requirements, and implement tailored technology and business process solutions.
  • Collaborate with system experts to tackle complex client challenges and deliver innovative, real‑world solutions to complex business needs.
  • Support end‑users by analysing, triaging and testing bugs and issues, while also leading the testing of new feature deployment and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
  • Work with clients to deliver operational efficiency through the identification and implementation of business process improvements.
  • Support reinsurance platform projects including system implementations, data migrations, interface build and enhancement, and rolling out new modules and upgrades.
  • Supporting the design and implementation of in‑house tools which bring additional value to our reinsurance clients and team.
Job Requirements

Skills and Experience

  • You have completed a bachelor’s degree; an advanced degree (MA, MSc, MBA) or other relevant qualifications are a plus.
  • You are intellectually curious, using your technical and analytical skills to solve complex problems.
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills, making you a valuable asset in engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • You have impactfully contributed to projects through every phase, driving change and delivering results.
  • You are adept at working with data and have an interest in data analysis, including the use of standard tools such as Microsoft Excel.

Specific previous experience

Prior experience is not required, though experience in (Re)insurance, Insurtech, or consultancy is a plus. This role is ideal for someone early in their career or with up to 3 years’ relevant experience.
