Benefact Group plc, including Ecclesiastical Insurance, is seeking an Assistant Reinsurance Technician to join our Gloucester office on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role supports the Reinsurance and Underwriting teams with admin and technical tasks, handling referrals, reporting, and third-party arrangements.

You will process reinsurance placements, manage workloads, and contribute to accurate reporting while working in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills with data manipulation and reporting
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• High accuracy and meticulous attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Process reinsurance placements accurately within authority and service standards
• Support administration and reconciliation of third-party arrangements
• Manage and prioritise team workloads to meet deadlines
• Update and distribute weekly and monthly reports
• Assist with annual reinsurance set-up activities
• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across the business
• Suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
