Reinsurance Operations Analyst

Location: National – circa £28,000 | London – circa £30,000

We’re looking for a Reinsurance Operations Analyst to join our dynamic Reinsurance Operations team within Retirement Solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity for a numerically minded graduate or someone with relevant experience seeking a new challenge in a critical function that supports Aviva’s strategic ambitions.

You’ll be responsible for the ongoing administration of in-force reinsurance arrangements, working closely with pension schemes and reinsurance partners to deliver capital-efficient solutions that manage risk effectively.

A bit about the job:

  • Analyse and validate insured data extracts to identify changes across reinsurance portfolios.
  • Calculate updated reinsurance premiums based on revised datasets.
  • Support process improvements to enhance accuracy, reduce risk, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of reinsurance administration.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; VBA experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
  • Strong numerical ability; experience in reinsurance operations or pension transactions is desirable but not essential.
