Job summary

Ariya Neurocare in Barnsley is seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Support Worker to assist individuals with acquired brain injury in regaining skills and confidence. You will work with our neurotherapy team to implement rehabilitation strategies and support independence and safe discharge home.

The role offers training and mentoring, with shifts including evenings and weekends as part of a rota, and a supportive team in a recognised brain injury rehabilitation service.

  • Contribute to a varied, proactive, and positive team environment; support individuals to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
  • Participate in a role that includes all aspects of personal care as needed, on a rota basis including evenings and weekends.
  • Engage in the development and delivery of care and rehabilitation plans under training and mentoring.
  • Support career development opportunities, including management training programmes.

Rehabilitation Support Worker

Location: Barnsley

Salary: £13.45 per hour

Vacancy Type: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

August and September Start Dates

This role supports individuals with acquired brain injury to regain skills, confidence and independence, with the aim of returning home or moving to more independent living. You will work alongside our neurotherapy team to implement goals and strategies in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Whether you are a career changer or seeking real clinical experience within a therapeutic environment, this role will be fulfilling and interesting. Working in a brain injury rehabilitation service is fast-paced and can involve helping people regain lost skills and confidence.

Our Barnsley team has been recognised with an Outstanding rating across all areas by CQC, and by the Headway/ABI approved provider scheme across all 6 domains, reflecting a great environment and positive outcomes for individuals’ rehabilitation.
