A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a part-time role within its clinical team focusing on providing technical support for wheelchair services. The position involves assessing, planning, and setting up manual and powered wheelchairs for users of various disabilities. Key responsibilities include supporting rehabilitation engineers and ensuring quality control in equipment preparation. Applicants must undergo a DBS check. Flexible work hours may be required to suit service needs.
To work as part of the clinical team under supervision assessing, planning and setting up manual and powered wheelchair and accessories that are supplied to service users of all ages with a wide range of disabilities.
This is a part‑time post of 30 hours per week. The post holder may be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service may present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
