Job summary

Legal & General in Cardiff is seeking a Transaction Reporting Analyst to join our centralised team, responsible for accurate and timely reporting of trade and transaction data across multiple financial products. You will help meet regulatory obligations, strengthen reporting controls, and drive process improvements.

You will perform reconciliations, maintain data quality, support day-to-day reporting, escalate issues promptly, and collaborate with internal teams and third parties to resolve

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work proactively and independently.
• Excellent time-management and prioritisation skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort with data analysis.
• Experience in financial services desirable.
• GCSE maths and English at grade C or above.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily and periodic transaction reporting to support regulatory compliance.
• Perform reconciliations and investigate discrepancies across reporting datasets.
• Maintain data quality through proactive oversight and robust controls.
• Support BAU reporting while identifying efficiency improvements.
• Escalate reporting issues, risks, and delays clearly and promptly.
• Review and enhance procedures in line with regulatory and business changes.
• Analyze regulatory updates to stay informed of industry developments.
• Collaborate with internal teams and third parties to resolve reporting issues.
