Job description

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Reporting Automation Specialist to join our clients Regulatory Reporting Team on a 6-month contract, reporting directly to the Director of Regulatory Reporting. This role is key to supporting their upcoming PRA review by ensuring testing, accuracy, and automation of regulatory reports.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Testing and reconciling FCA and PRA regulatory returns.
• Supporting automation of the Bank’s regulatory reporting using Suade (experience desirable, not essential).
• Providing subject matter expertise on data mapping, validation, and transformation.
• Partnering closely with IT, Finance, Treasury, and Risk to ensure compliant and accurate reporting.
• Enhancing documentation, controls, and training materials as part of the automation project.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience testing regulatory reporting for UK banks.
• Deep knowledge of FCA & PRA regulatory returns, including capital, liquidity, leverage, balance sheet, credit risk, and market risk.
• Strong financial product knowledge (loans, savings, securities, derivatives, etc).
• Skilled in Excel, SQL, Equation, and regulatory reporting platforms (Suade knowledge desirable).
• Minimum of 5 years’ UK banking regulatory reporting experience.
• Highly detail-oriented, self-starter with ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
