Job description

Have you ever wanted to be involved in a project from its very infancy? Want a chance to drive real change? We're looking for an experienced regulatory reporting professional to join our team. You'll be responsible for the production and delivery of several regulatory reports that fall within the scope of the Controlling, Treasury & Direct Banking team. Through the implementation of new software and creation of these reports for a new project you will be able to gather massive exposure to our wider business, processes and stakeholders setting you up for a successful career. You'll work across the business and with our Germany headquarters (HQ) to deliver a first‑class regulatory reporting function by driving through efficiency and quality improvement initiatives, whilst meeting strict reporting deadlines. Your expertise will help us maintain high standards of data quality and reporting accuracy, working with systems like Connect (data warehouse) and Abacus360 (regulatory reporting software).

What You'll Be Doing
  • Manage regulatory reporting for HQ and key regulators including ECB, BaFin, PRA, FCA, Bank of England, and ONS.
  • Lead continuous process improvements—streamlining submissions, introducing checks and controls, and creating process maps.
  • Partner with the Prudential Regulatory Reporting Manager to anticipate regulatory changes and build financial models for new requirements.
  • Develop and deliver training programmes to enhance understanding of reporting across Finance, Risk, and Legal teams.
  • Collaborate with IT and Development Accountants to resolve data issues and implement change requests.
  • Mentor and guide our Regulatory Reporting Undergraduate.
  • Ensure accurate regulatory reports for the right stakeholders at the right time, helping us achieve our mission.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Qualified Accountant (or qualified by experience) with proven regulatory reporting expertise (e.g., Basel III, CRD/CRR, Solvency II).
  • Strong knowledge of credit products, accounting requirements, data warehouses, and reporting software in banking and financial services.
  • Advanced Excel and modelling skills, plus experience with SAP.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex regulatory documentation.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and motivated by new challenges.

  • Private medical insurance for you (optionally with family cover), loan car scheme for up to 2 cars for partner or eligible family members (subject to restrictions).
