Job summary

Arthur is partnering with a specialty insurance business to recruit a Reporting Accountant on a six-month fixed-term contract in London. The role offers £70,000–£80,000 per annum with three days in the office and an ASAP start.

You will work closely with the Controller in a small finance team, preparing statutory accounts, supporting group reporting, and handling monthly and quarterly closes, ensuring tight financial controls.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) is required.
• Experience in insurance accounting or Big Four insurance audit.
• Strong UK GAAP/FRS102 knowledge and statutory financial statements experience.
• Comfortable working to reporting deadlines with a hands-on approach.
• US GAAP and Oracle experience would be beneficial but not essential.

• Support US GAAP group reporting, with guidance available within the team.
• Finalise monthly and quarterly trial balances across multiple entities.
