Job summary

UK Management College is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to lead the Quality and Compliance function, embedding robust governance, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and risk management across the institution.

The role reports to the Head of Quality and Compliance and collaborates with academic and professional services colleagues to ensure compliance obligations are met effectively and consistently.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification or equivalent in compliance, governance, quality assurance, risk management, or a related field.
• Experience in compliance, quality assurance, governance or risk management environments.
• Experience coordinating compliance activities across multiple departments or teams.
• Experience supervising, mentoring, or line managing staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and monitoring of compliance frameworks and internal controls.
• Ensure policies align with regulatory requirements and best practice.
• Monitor activities across departments to identify risks or non-compliance.
• Support audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
• Line manage Compliance Officers and develop team capability.
• Support risk management, governance, and business continuity initiatives.
• Analyse data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Promote data protection and information governance requirements.
