THE ROLE:

You will manage a busy and varied caseload, ensuring timely progression in line with organisational standards. Responsibilities include overseeing investigations, approving case plans and evidence reviews, coordinating with presenting officers and internal teams, and managing paralegals. You will also provide guidance to registrants, the public and external organisations on Fitness to Practise processes, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring full compliance with relevant policies and legislation.

This role follows a hybrid schedule, with one in office day per week and the remaining days worked remotely.

THE CANDIDATE:

The organisation is seeking a qualified solicitor with 3-5 years’ PQE, a barrister or a CILEX lawyer with strong experience in investigations, evidence evaluation and preparing cases for hearings. Skilled in managing high risk, complex caseloads and balancing competing priorities. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to convey complex issues clearly and empathetically. The ideal candidate will be able to commence the role immediately and support the team for circa 3 months.
