You will be joining our busy, growing Regulation team in National Grid Electricity Transmission, right at the heart of National Grid's work in ensuring that our network is ready for the future. This is an exciting role which will help shape the future of the GB energy sector at a vital phase in our transition to net zero!
Responsible for helping National Grid navigate the regulatory and policy landscape, building strong relationships with our key stakeholders and ultimately securing regulatory approval for our major investments.
In particular, lead regulatory engagement on the growing pipeline of nationally significant demand connections, including EV battery plants and AI data centres. This will require close collaboration with DESNZ and Ofgem to shape the government and regulatory policy needed to enable timely delivery of these investments.

A competitive salary of £64,000 - £76,000 per annum dependent on capability and experience.
An annual bonus of up to 15% and annual pay review.
