Job description

Here at Orbit Group, the Regulatory Data Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring Orbit meets its regulatory obligations, by managing and delivering accurate, timely, and auditable data submissions. You will lead on the data analysis, validation and transformation for regulatory data returns.

You will act as the first point of contact with key internal and external stakeholders on all queries relating to the organisation's regulatory submission responsibilities. You will also play a key role in delivering the organisation's performance reporting assurance processes.

This role is part of People and Strategy where you'll help us to build a culture and brand that people want to be part of.

What you’ll achieve
  • Work with the Head of Service and the Corporate Performance & Planning Manager to ensure that annual corporate planning and regulatory submission key dates and deadlines are planned and met.
  • Coordinate and project manage the production of timely and accurate regulatory submissions on behalf of Orbit Group and its subsidiaries in line with business and regulatory requirements, working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure Orbit is operationally ready for regulatory changes and submission adjustments through proactive monitoring and interpretation of regulatory requirements.
  • Create and maintain PowerBI reports to support the management of Orbit's regulatory returns and Performance Management Framework.
  • Ensure relevant benchmarking information is used correctly to provide context within reports, and play a key role in utilising benchmarking insight from regulatory data.
  • Working with key stakeholders, regularly review internal processes to ensure the continuous improvement and data integrity of Orbit's regulatory submission endeavours.
