Job summary

A leading retail company in Manchester is seeking a Compliance Manager to ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements. You will identify compliance risks, develop mitigation strategies, and support business operations within the legal framework. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UK financial regulations, excellent analytical skills, and a minimum of 3 years' experience in a compliance role within financial services. Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a compliance role within UK financial services.
  • Experience preparing FCA permissions applications preferable.
  • Demonstrable experience of organising team affairs and scheduled outputs.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to FCA, GDPR, UK Bribery Act, and AML regulations.
  • Draft, review, and update compliance policies and procedures.
  • Identify compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Strong understanding of UK financial services regulations

Education

Professional certifications (ICA or similar)
