Overview

A leading challenger bank is looking for a Regulatory Compliance Manager with strong CASS expertise to strengthen the firm’s controls around client money and assets for an initial 3-month period.

In this role, you’ll help shape how the organisation meets its FCA obligations by overseeing key processes, offering specialist advice, and supporting the safe operation of investment products.

You’ll be involved in everything from developing control frameworks and reviewing reconciliations to contributing to governance forums, leading audit preparation, and assessing regulatory updates.

Your work will play a central part in maintaining a secure, compliant environment for customers and the wider business.

What You’ll Bring
  • At least 3 years’ experience working with CASS requirements in an investment firm, consultancy, or regulatory body
  • Detailed understanding of CASS 6–10 and MiFID II
  • Strong grasp of client asset protection rules and reconciliation frameworks
  • Background in managing operational and compliance controls in financial services
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under pressure
  • Confident analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify regulatory risks
  • Experience contributing to CASS gap analyses, policy enhancements, and implementation projects
  • A proactive mindset with a commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Bonus : qualifications in compliance or CASS, relevant academic background (Economics / Finance), SQL / data analysis experience, or prior engagement with regulatory audits
