A leading water and wastewater utility company in Reading is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Lead to ensure legislative compliance with security provisions. The role involves delivering regulatory reports, collaborating across teams, and assuring security measures. Ideal candidates will have strong report writing skills, experience in regulatory assurance, and the ability to work effectively with various functions. The position offers a competitive salary of up to £58,000 and comprehensive benefits.
We are currently recruiting a Regulatory Compliance Lead, to join our SEMD (Security Emergency Measure Direction) team. This role will enable the business to gain legislative compliance to SEMD outcomes through effective, timely, professional and honest response to legal instruments and ad‑hoc reporting requirements to the DWI, Ofwat and other regulators. Across our SEMD portfolio, the role will also enable effective assurance of regulatory compliance to security provisions in place across the Organisation.
Note: this role will be subject to BPSS screening and National Security Vetting to SC (Security Clearance) level.
Location – Your base location will be Kemble Court, Reading.
Working Hours – Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week.
