Job summary

National Gas Transmission PLC in Warwick invites applications for a Regulatory Accounting Analyst in a specialist finance team. You will report to the Head of Regulatory Finance and manage Ofgem submissions, maintain the Price Control Financial Model, and ensure revenue is calculated in line with licence requirements.

The role requires a fully qualified accountant and strong data-to-insight skills, with experience in regulatory finance and RIIO.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/CIMA/ACCA or nearing completion.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong commercial acumen and confidence to challenge and influence decisions.
• Understanding of the RIIO framework is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Ofgem to ensure RIIO contracts and licence requirements are enacted.
• Submit annual revenue forecasts via the Price Control Financial Model and manage risks.
• Forecast policy development and integrate it with Regulatory Reporting procedures.
• Contribute to Regulatory Financial Performance Reporting and Return on Regulated Equity calculations.
• Transfer knowledge of RIIO contracts across Finance and the business.
• Liaise with the charge setting team to provide information and bill analysis.
