HireHive is recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Container Driver to join a regular, long-term workload in the Aldridge area of the West Midlands. Expect Monday–Friday days, start times 06:00–08:00, and around 50 hours per week on a block booking through 2026.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 / LGV C+E licence and valid Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous container driving experience essential.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations; reliable and professional.

Responsibilities

• Driving HGV Class 1 / Category C+E vehicles.
• Container collections and deliveries.
• Operating skeletal trailers.
• Monday-to-Friday day work.
• Start times between 06:00 and 08:00.
• Approximately 50 hours per week.
• Local, regional and longer-distance container movements as required.
• Completing relevant transport and container paperwork.
• Safe use of twist locks and load‑security procedures.
