Job summary

Willows Veterinary Group in Hartford is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their RCVS accredited hospital. This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week working within a large team. The hospital offers fantastic facilities including US scanner and digital x-ray.

The position covers a variety of responsibilities from prep to theatre and in-patient care. Benefits include generous holiday, training support, and more.

We have a fabulous opportunity to join our RCVS accredited Hospital in Hartford as aRegistered Veterinary Nurse.

You will join a large team of experienced vets, nurses and receptionists in a busy hospital environment. We offer fantastic facilities including US scanner, digital x-ray, in house lab, CT scanner, laparoscopy equipment and much more.

This is a general nursing role which will cover prep, theatres and in-patient care on a rota.

About you

• Qualified RVN
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Enjoys theatre work and care of medical cases

The Role

• Permanent or 12m FTC
• Full time 37.5 hours a week over 5 days
• Working hours between 7am and 8.30pm
• 1:4 Weekends with 2 days toil the following week
• 2 Bank Holidays per year
• No OOH’s but may be required to provide occasional cover

This role will cover prep, theatre and care of in-patients.
