Overview

Registered Veterinary Nurse - Small Animal role at IVC Evidensia. Twickenham Veterinary Surgery is a small animal practice in Twickenham offering a friendly, innovative environment with good transport links and access to modern facilities.

Responsibilities

• General nursing duties including theatre support, in-patient care, nurse-led clinics, and general housekeeping tasks.
• Collaborate within a dedicated and supportive nursing team.

Working hours

This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday with no weekends and no out-of-hours (OOH). Shifts are typically 8:00–16:30 or 11:00–19:30. Flexible working patterns and part-time applications will be considered.

About the practice

Twickenham Veterinary Surgery is based in Twickenham, near cafes, restaurants, and parks. The practice has digital X-ray, ultrasound, multiparameter monitor, endoscope, laser, a dedicated nurse consulting room, and a focus on delivering excellent service. The team includes six experienced vets (one with a certificate in internal medicine and one skilled in acupuncture), six full-time nurses, three part-time nurses, one trainee ANA, and seven support staff. The team values customer care and staff well-being and partners with local animal charities. The practice promotes a no-blame culture with open case discussions and ongoing improvement of protocols.
