We’re looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our supportive team at Hampton Park Vets.

The Role

This role offers variety and autonomy, you’ll run clinics, have dedicated surgical days, care for inpatients, and build lasting relationships with our loyal client base.

Hampton Park Vets is a friendly group of small animal practices based in Salisbury and across Hampshire. Your primary base will be our Hampton Park Vets practice in Salisbury, with occasional work at our other nearby sites.

Our well‑equipped practice features modern facilities such as digital and dental x‑ray, ultrasound, full Idexx blood machines, separate dog and cat wards, a therapeutic laser, and much more – everything you need to provide outstanding care.

Join a Dedicated Team

You’ll be joining a dedicated and experienced nursing team. At our Hampton Park practice, you’ll work alongside 3 other Registered Veterinary Nurses (one currently completing a certificate in Surgical Nursing) and a Veterinary Care Assistant. Across our other branches, the team includes 2 additional RVNs, a Student Veterinary Nurse, and a VCA – one of whom holds a certificate in Medicine, while another is currently studying towards a certificate in Medical Nursing.

Working Hours

This is a full‑time role working 39.5 hours per week, with shifts between 8:00am‑4:00pm or 11:00am‑7:00pm, Monday to Friday. The role also includes participation in a 1‑in‑3 Saturday rota, working 9:00am‑2:00pm.

The Skills You’ll Need

We’re looking for a confident and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys working as part of a supportive team. You’ll be RCVS‑registered (or eligible to register), with strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to both clients and colleagues. You should be competent in all aspects of routine nursing and eager to continue learning, developing your skills, and contributing to the growth of the practice.
