A veterinary practice in the UK is seeking a dedicated veterinary nurse to join their team. This full-time role involves a range of responsibilities in a supportive environment, allowing you to build client relationships and manage a diverse caseload. The ideal candidate will have experience in small animal nursing and be eager to develop professionally. This position offers competitive compensation and a variety of employee benefits.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a veterinary nurse to become part of our friendly, supportive team. You’ll work across our three branches, allowing you to see your cases through, build lasting relationships with clients, and experience a diverse and interesting caseload.
As part of our dedicated nursing team, you’ll take on a varied and hands‑on role that covers every aspect of small animal nursing. From running nurse consults to assisting in theatre and caring for inpatients, no two days are the same. We believe in empowering our nurses, offering opportunities for growth, learning, and responsibility while making sure you always feel appreciated and supported.
We have three well‑established surgeries serving the communities of Alton, Bordon, and Grayshott. Across all our branches, we continually strive for excellence in management, medicine, surgery, and diagnostics. Our goal is to provide a service that truly enriches and strengthens the special bond between people and their pets.
Both our Alton and Bordon clinics are fully equipped to support surgical procedures, in‑depth case work‑ups, and the hospitalisation of patients. Facilities include separate cat and dog wards, digital radiography, and Idexx VetLab stations for same‑day haematology, biochemistry, and electrolyte analysis. We also have excellent ultrasound equipment, including cardiac probes, and high‑speed dental handpieces, with digital dental radiography available at our Bordon site. Each practice features a dedicated theatre to support a wide range of surgical work.
Our Grayshott branch is our smallest clinic, located in the heart of a picturesque village. It offers a more intimate setting and currently provides consultations only, allowing us to maintain a strong local presence and continuity of care within the community.
This is a full‑time position working 40 hours per week, spread across 4 or 5 days. Shifts are scheduled between 8:15am and 7:30pm, with participation in a 1‑in‑3 Saturday morning rota (8:15am‑1:30pm).
At IVC Evidensia, we’re driven by the passion and commitment of our people – across clinical, operational, and support teams.
