Vets for Pets in Rushden is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our small animal practice. This is a part-time role with 24 to 28 hours per week, offering a supportive team and a no-weekends, no-OOH schedule.
You will mentor student nurses, assist with anaesthesia, post-operative care, nurse consults, and triage. We value cheerful, customer-focused nurses who bring enthusiasm and a good sense of humour.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at our small animal practice in Rushden East Midlands for a talented, friendly RVN to join our and lovely team. We have two contracted full time vets, one new graduate vet, one full time nurse, one student veterinary nurse, two VCA and two receptionist.
Based inside the Rushden Pets at Home store, we benefit from a busy location across from Rushden Lakes Shops/Cinema and Waitrose.
We love our loyal, dedicated clients and their furry family members. We care for dogs/cats/rabbits/small furries in our modern, well equipped mezzanine general practice clinic.
We enjoy monthly team lunches(think Pizza Express, Swedish Kitchen, Wagamamas!!) and challenges such as climbing Snowden.
We are a CAW nurse training practice. You will be expected to mentor student nurses as well as stay on your toes with best practice for all areas of pet care including anaesthesia, post operative routine surgery support, Nurse Consults, and emergency triage.
To apply you will have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth, enthusiastic with good sense of humour.
This is a part time role working 24 to 28 hours per week. Our shift pattern will include working x3 8 hour days (plus additional half day based on a 28 hour shift pattern) with one hour unpaid lunch.
