Job summary

Registered Veterinary Nurse - just outside Glasgow

Are you a proactive and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) looking to join a dedicated and caring team? My client is seeking an enthusiastic RVN to become part of the well‑established, friendly, mixed practice. You will be welcomed into a supportive network of vets, nurses, animal care assistants and receptionists.

The focus is on providing excellent first opinion care to patients and delivering an outstanding service to a loyal, long‑standing client base. Your role will be varied and engaging, based on a rota system that includes caring for both medical and surgical patients post‑operation, assisting vets in theatre and prep areas, managing pharmacy orders and stock control, caring for isolation patients, and performing lab work. Personal growth is highly encouraged, and candidates looking to pursue further qualifications will find a supportive environment here.

State‑of‑the‑art facilities include the latest laparoscopy equipment, a fully equipped lab with advanced haematology, biochemistry, electrolyte, and therapeutic monitoring, an ultrasound scanner, digital radiography including a dental x‑ray machine, an endoscope, and the latest dental instruments and equipment.

The practice in just outside Glasgow in a stunning historic area with excellent transport links and breath‑taking coastline and countryside on the doorstep.
