Purosearch Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) for a well-established small animal practice in Surrey. Join a friendly, supportive team and contribute to high clinical standards with access to 24-hour hospital support nearby.

You will deliver exceptional patient and client care, assist surgeries, run nurse-led consultations, and mentor colleagues within a modern facility with digital imaging and in-house labs.

Qualifications

• Current RCVS registration as a Veterinary Nurse.
• Experience delivering exceptional patient and client care.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Experience supporting nurse consultations and understanding their contribution to practice efficiency.
• Confidence using coaching and influencing skills to support and motivate colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Delivering outstanding patient and client care at all times.
• Supporting surgeries and procedures, including all pre- and post-operative care.
• Running nurse-led consultations and Schedule 3 activities.
• Providing inpatient monitoring and nursing care.
• Managing patient admissions and discharges under veterinary direction.
• Supporting patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care services where required.
• Dispensing and checking medications accurately.
• Ensuring compliance with all RCVS, practice and operational standards.
• Supporting team coordination through briefings and effective communication.
• Providing mentorship and support to colleagues where appropriate.
